Hi, I’m Becky.

When I was in my early 20’s, my mother-in-law introduced me to quilting. It intrigued me but didn’t fully engage me.

​

Last year, nearly four decades later, I rediscovered quilting through YouTube videos and creators.

​

This time, the engagement stuck.

​

Small, manageable projects got me started: tribute banners for creative people in my life. And I've grown from there.

​

Quilting is a deep, broad study that touches many topics: American history, cotton agriculture, proportion, design, color theory, manufacturing, international traditions, geometry, and local community.

​

And, it is an excellent topic for videography, which is my field of work.

​

I’m no quilt master (yet), so my YouTube channel is full of videos of me learning: taking risks, making mistakes, and trying again. It's all part of the journey. And my current appetite for quilting projects far exceeds my desire to NOT look like an idiot.

I’m happy to connect with anyone who has even the slightest interest in this most excellent pursuit/art form/passion.
